Disabling location services

To access geo-restricted services with the help of a VPN, you might need to disable location services (GPS) on your device. You can find the steps on how to do so in this guide:

 

 

Windows

 

  1. Click on Start and press the cogwheel button in the bottom-left corner, above the power button.

  2. Click Privacy.

  3. Select Location settings in the sidebar and click Change.

  4. Turn location services off.

macOS

 

  1. Open the System Settings on your computer.

  2. Go to  Privacy & Security, and click on Location Services.
      

        
  3. Click the toggle next to Location Services to disable it. And that is it!
      

 

 

Android

 

  1.  Open the Settings app on your Android and look for either the Connections tab or, depending on your phone, the Privacy tab.

  2. Tap Location and toggle the switch off.

Note: the settings may vary depending on the Android version of your device.

 

 

iOS

 

  1. Open Settings, scroll down, and tap on Privacy.
     
  2. At the top, tap Location Services.

  3. Tap the toggle next to Location Services.

  4. Tap Turn Off to disable location services for all apps.
