How to whitelist Atlas VPN on Avira Antivirus

This article will teach you how to make an exception for Atlas VPN on Avira Antivirus. 

Occasionally, VPNs and Antiviruses can come into conflict with each other, and cause issues.

You would need the Avira antivirus and Atlas VPN applications in order to make these changes.

  1.  Open your Avira antivirus application and press on the Security ta, on the left side of the application.

  2. Move onto the Protection options.

  3. Click onto the cogwheel next to the Real-time protection tab.

  4. Go to PC Protection -> Real-Time Protection -> Exceptions.

  5. Press the three-dot button under Files and Folders to be ignored by the System Scanner and Real-Time Protection.

  6. Go to This PC -> Local disk (C:) -> Program Files.

  7. Open the Program Files folder by clicking on the grey arrow on the left side, and scroll down until you find the Atlas VPN folder. Click on the Atlas VPN folder, then click OK.

  8. Finally, press the Add >> button.

  9.  Press Apply and OK. Afterward, proceed to reboot your device.
