Locating the User ID on Linux

  • Updated

In this article we will go through the steps you should take to locate the User ID via the terminal, using a Linux device. Let's dive into it!

Note: You should log into the account that has your active premium subscription, as otherwise, the Atlas VPN application will display a different User ID.

  1. Once you are logged into your account on Linux, open the terminal by pressing Ctrl, Alt, and T keys together.

  2. Copy-paste this command into the terminal and press enter to run it:
    atlasvpn account

  3. You will see your account information. Your User ID will be displayed next to UUID.

To provide our customer care team with your User ID, simply copy and paste it to an email at support@atlasvpn.com! If you have a premium subscription, contact us via live chat by logging into your Atlas VPN account.
